Welcome to Gillingham Anchorians Hockey Club

After successfully securing funds to relay our hockey pitch, this season promises to be an exciting year. This year we look to celebrate 62 years of playing hockey. We have been playing hockey in the Medway towns since 1954. We welcome players of all ages and abilities. We run 4 men's, 3 ladies, an U8, U10, U12 and U14, veterans and mixed sides. Whether you are after a more serious level of hockey or just want to enjoy a run around and a bit of a social then we would be pleased to welcome you. We have great facilities and our own club house on site! We are a social bunch so whether you are an ace on the pitch or haven't played since school then get back into it and join us now!

September 3rd - Club Day

Following our highly Back to Hockey sessions which saw more than 40 people sign up to special hockey summer sessions, we're inviting even more former players to celebrate Olympic hockey success by returning to the sport with our Club Day tournament on Saturday 3rd September. Junior players will be in action from 1030am while seniors of all abilities can compete in the Rio-inspired six-a-side tournament from 1230. Chairman Gary Jackson said: "We were delighted by the interest from people wanting to pick up a stick again and we're watching the GB progress in Brazil with interest as we hope it'll inspire even more people to give hockey a go at our family friendly club.".
